About HP Systinet Policy Management™
HP Systinet Policy Management ships preloaded with a library of policies and assertions for WS-I Basic Profile, checks for the validity of WSDL and XML Schema, document integrity, and more. Customer-defined policies can easily and quickly be created using familiar tools and languages such as XQuery, XPath, Schematron or Java. Policy Management ensures service quality without sacrificing developer productivity.

MomentumSI Policy Packs
Best practices in the Service Oriented Enterprise are continuing to be defined. As standards evolve and new standards are introduced, it is necessary to keep your SOA policies up to date. MomentumSI offers a solution to this problem via a 'policy subscription'. Each quarter, MomentumSI sends out updates to policies which can be reviewed and selectively loaded into the HP Systinet Policy Management™. This allows you to choose only those policies that are applicable to your organization.

The MomentumSI Policy Packs include:

  • Namespace Constraints - Verify enterprise wide namespaces.
  • XML Usage - Define the appropriate use of advanced XML capabilities (arrays, nesting, inheritance, etc.)
  • WSDL Documents - Identify the acceptable structure of a WSDL Document, WS-Policy attachments, etc.
  • Industry Practices - Apply industry accepted practices according to open schemas definitions (travel, finance, health, etc.)

Policy Customization Services
In addition to our Policy Packs, MomentumSI offers our customers a policy mining, digitization and loading services. For those policies that are specific to your organization, MomentumSI SOA Governance Specialists provide consulting services to:
  • Identify candidate policies
  • Review the impact of the policy (good and bad)
