Harmony™ Service Analysis

In Harmony™, Service Analysis relies on a traditional ‘meet in the middle’ approach. This means that the problem is viewed from the ‘top down’, where business processes are mined for services. As well as from the ‘bottom up’, where current systems are analyzed for their potential to provide services. Meet in the middle uses these techniques along with other techniques such as a 360 degree review to verify that a complete analysis is performed.

 Service Oriented Analysis

The outcome of a service analysis is one or more ‘service case’ and ‘operation case’ descriptions. These documents serve as detailed specifications for downstream service designers and builders.
