Jeff Schneider, Chief Executive Officer

Jeff founded MomentumSI in 1997 and serves as its CEO and Chairman. As CEO, Jeff aligns the strategic goals of the company with those of the customers. As a hands-on CEO, he spends significant time working directly with client programs and keeps a close eye on disruptive technologies and paradigms. Jeff started his career at 3M working on supply chain and manufacturing systems. In 1996, he wrote the first book on Enterprise Java and continues to write for leading technology publications and is a frequent speaker related to emerging technologies. His concepts of service networks, enterprise vocabularies and the “service oriented enterprise” serve as a blueprint for companies to upgrade not only their enterprise architecture, but also their people and processes.
Tom Hite, Vice President, Client Solutions

Tom brings 20 years of executive and technology experience in early-stage and publicly traded companies. As chief technical officer and co-founder of Metallect, Tom was driven by his passion for commercial-ready, cutting-edge technology to meet the needs brought about by the confluence of service-oriented architectures, semantic integration, and the acceleration of business information flow. Prior to co-founding Metallect, Tom was chief technical officer of AMX Corporation, the global leader in control automation systems. At AMX, Tom led the vision and development of a sophisticated hardware and software platform for home and business automation. Tom was also CEO of Phast, AMX’s wholly owned subsidiary and worldwide leader of residential integration network/control systems, and General Manager of AMX’s consumer broadband division. Prior to AMX, Tom was vice president of software development at AnswerSoft, Inc., a venture backed startup which was acquired by Concerto Software.
Alex Rosen, Principal

Alex leads MomentumSI’s east coast efforts, specializing in SOA, cloud computing, and DevOps solutions. In his more than a decade of IT consulting, Alex has provided architectural strategy and led implementation teams on projects for CNN, Time Warner, Bank One, Sprint, and others. Prior to focusing on EA, Alex developed significant subject matter expertise in content management and online commerce. In his role at MomentumSI Alex focuses on assisting customers with the practice of enterprise architecture, change management, specifically as it relates to SOA and cloud computing initiatives. Alex and his team provide transformation services including cloud computing, EA and SOA program strategy and governance, infrastructure selection and implementation, service architecture and construction, and role-specific education and mentoring. Alex holds a B.S. from MIT.
Paul Rusk, Principal

Paul leads MomentumSI’s west coast efforts to expand our thought leadership practices for Cloud Computing and SOA. Prior to joining MomentumSI, Paul was RVP Sales Western US for pricing optimization software provider PROS. Prior to PROS, Paul held sales and sales management positions at Oracle, Clarus, Informix and Sun Microsystems. As co-founder of Austin Texas startup Bottomline Holdings, Paul was a frequent speaker and subject matter expert on reverse auctions. Paul began his career as a civil engineer developing finite element analysis computer models used to design hydraulic structures for Harza Engineering in Chicago, IL. He has a BS from the University of Minnesota.
Kyle Smith, Principal

Kyle leads MomentumSI’s central region efforts with a focus in supporting MomentumSI’s clients around their application modernization, continuous integration and deployment automation, systems integration, and application performance optimization needs. Prior to his current role, Kyle held positions within MomentumSI executing and managing delivery and operation efforts for client engagements around MomentumSI’s EA, SOA, Cloud Computing, Application Development, and DevOps offerings. With his background in delivery, Kyle is passionate about working with clients as a key enabler for strategic initiatives centered around transformation and change management, technology enablement, IT strategy, and implementation services.
Tom Brown, Director of Operations

Tom Brown runs the Operations and ensures the efficient running of the behind- the-scenes activities. Classically trained in Economics at the University of Illinois, Tom spent more than a decade in the Health Care Industry. He comes to MomentumSI with experience as a multiple business owner and an efficiency expert. Tom coordinates relationships between, and the output of, Recruiting, HR, Sales, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, IT, Legal, Office Management and Business Development.
Cathleen Sweeten, GM Staffing – Indigo Solutions

Cathleen runs MomentumSI’s contract staffing & permanent placement subsidiary, Indigo Solutions. Her team delivers top technical talent to ISV’s, SMB’s and Enterprise organizations. Cathleen holds a BA from University of Michigan and an MBA from University of Texas.
